(My Sportsbook) - The Minnesota Timberwolves wrap up a four-game homestand this evening when they host the Los Angeles Clippers at the Target Center. Minnesota, which has won four straight overall, improved to 3-0 on the homestand with Sunday's 103-99 overtime win against the Houston Rockets. It was Minnesota's third straight win in overtime, having beaten San Antonio and Philadelphia before topping the Rockets. Kevin Garnett had 26 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Timberwolves, who have won five in a row at home and are 11-5 as the host this season. Mark Blount added 21 points and 10 boards, while Ricky Davis netted 16 for the T'wolves. Trenton Hassell netted 14 points and Mike James chipped in 12 points and 10 assists for Minnesota, which is 5 1/2 games off the Northwest Division lead. Meanwhile, the Clippers ended a two-game losing streak with Monday's 100-90 win over the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets at the Ford Center. Sam Cassell returned to the Clippers lineup and scored a game-high 31 points to lead Los Angeles. Cassell missed the last eight games with a left foot injury. He did not start this contest, but played over 35 minutes. Cuttino Mobley added 20 points and Elton Brand had 18 points and 12 boards for the Clippers, who ended a two-game slide and improved to 2-3 on their current six-game road trip. Los Angeles is 4-13 as the guest this season and sits 10 1/2 games off the lead in the Pacific Division. Minnesota posted a 104-96 victory over the Clippers on November 25 this season at the Target Center. The Timberwolves have won 12 of 16 and 13 of the last 18 meetings. The Clippers have dropped eight of their last nine visits to Minnesota.
