Kerkrade, Holland (My Sportsbook) - Vitesse moved into the top-half of the Eredivisie standings on Saturday with a 4-2 comeback win over Roda at Parkstad Limburg Stadion.
Sekou Cisse and Andres Oper scored three minutes apart to put Roda up 2-0 a half-hour into the contest. However, Danko Lazovic tallied the first of his two goals before halftime to make it 2-1. Vitesse took over from there, getting goals from Anduele Prijor, Fred Benson and a second strike from Lazovic to rally for the win.
Dieter Van Tornhout's header in the 26th minute was superbly stopped by Harald Wapenaar in the Vitesse net. However, the rebound fell for Cisse, who slammed it home from close range for a 1-0 lead to the home side.
Adil Ramzi fed Oper for the second Roda goal three minutes later. The Estonian collected the pass and turned and fired a quick shot that gave Wapenaar no chance, putting Roda up 2-0.
It looked like the home club was on its way to securing three points, but Lazovic struck before halftime to cut the Vitesse deficit to one as he headed home Youssouf Hersi's cross.
Lazovic had a hand in the equalizer for the visitors as he swung in a perfect cross for Prijor, who calmly finished to even the match four minutes after the restart.
Vitesse's comeback effort became a little easier in the 68th minute as Roda's Davy De Fauw picked up his second yellow card, earning him a dismissal.
In the 74th minute Vitesse went in front on Lazovic's second goal of the day. The Serbian striker dispossessed substitute Pa-Modou Kah and then slotted home a shot from close distance to make it 3-2 to the visitors.
Benson then added an insurance goal in stoppage time to preserve all three points.
