London, England (My Sportsbook) - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and West Ham boss Alan Pardew have both been charged with improper conduct by the FA following their confrontation in Sunday's match at Upton Park. The two men had to be separated when West Ham's Marlon Harewood scored a late game-winner to give the home side a surprising 1-0 win over the visitors. Pardew burst into celebration in the technical area when the ball hit the back of the net. Wenger took exception and confronted Pardew. The Frenchman refused to shake hands with his West Ham counterpart following the contest, and did not speak with the media after the match. "West Ham United manager Alan Pardew and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger have both been charged with improper conduct," an FA statement read. "The charges relate to their alleged aggressive and confrontational behavior towards the end of the match at Upton Park on Sunday November 5. They have until 23 November to respond." Each manager has the option of requesting a personal hearing and could face a fine and possibly a touchline ban should the charges be proven.
