Flowery Branch, GA (My Sportsbook) - Atlanta running back Travis Jervey is expected to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Sunday's 30-0 win over Carolina. Jervey, primarily a special teams player, has carried the ball just 10 times this season for 17 yards and has returned four kickoffs for 143 yards. Jervey, 6-foot, 215 pounds, was a fifth-round draft pick by Green Bay out of the Citadel in 1995. He made the Pro Bowl in 1997 as a special teams player. He finished with 325 yards rushing in 1998, then spent two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers before coming to the Falcons. Rookie running back T.J. Duckett, the Falcons' first-round draft choice and top rusher among its running back corps, has a boot on his left foot after suffering an injury during Sunday's game and is listed as doubtful for next weekend's game against New Orleans. Fullback Bob Christian suffered a concussion on Sunday and he is also a question mark for the New Orleans game.
