Munich, Germany (My Sportsbook) - With an entire country in support, Germany marches into the Round of 16 after an unbeaten run in group play to face Sweden on Saturday in Munich. Germany faced a difficult test in its first match, but still managed the 4-2 win over Costa Rica in the tournament opener. An intense match with Poland followed, with the Germans winning their second, 1-0 with a late goal in extra time. Germany is undefeated when it comes to the Round of 16. For Sweden, a win and two draws was just enough to advance to the next round in the second place spot. The team opened its tournament schedule with a scoreless draw to Trinidad & Tobago, handed Paraguay a 1-0 loss and finished in a 2-2 draw with England. Germany brings a healthy squad to the field, with defender Christoph Metzelder possibly returning after recovering from a knee injury. Striker Miroslav Klose could become the 12th player in tournament history to score 10 goals. Michael Ballack will be playing on a familiar field in Saturday's match. The Munich venue is the home to the Bundesliga's Bayern Munich, Ballack's former team. Sweden also has a relatively healthy squad available, with striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic expected to return to the lineup after recovering from a groin injury. Saturday marks the 32nd meeting between the two teams, both with 12 wins each.
