Los Angeles, CA (My Sportsbook) - Los Angeles Kings right wing Ziggy Palffy was put on the injured reserve list Saturday due to a left groin strain. The move is retroactive to October 13. Palffy suffered the injury October 12 against the Detroit Red Wings. He is eligible to return to the Kings' lineup for the start of the team's upcoming five-game road trip, which commences on Wednesday in Detroit. Last season, Palffy had 32 goals and 27 assists. He has a goal and two assists over two contests this season. The Kings replaced the roster spot by recalling center Derek Armstrong from Manchester of the American Hockey League.
