Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - Total Truth, driven by Ron Pierce, rambled down the stretch to capture Saturday's $1.5 million North America Cup at Woodbine Race Course. The North America Cup is the first major harness race of the year.
Total Truth, trained by co-owner Brenda Teague, came from off the pace to win the one mile pace. Taking the early lead was last year's two-year-old champion pacer Jereme's Jet.

Jereme's Jet still had the lead at the top of the stretch with Fox Valley Tribal sitting second.
In deep stretch Total Truth ran down the leader to post a one-length victory. Finishing second was post-time favorite Feelin Friskie, followed by Fox Valley Tribal and Dave Panlone in the ten horse field.
