Davie, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Miami Dolphins have signed cornerback Will Allen to a four-year contract, the club announced on Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Allen comes to Miami after spending the previous five seasons as a starter for the New York Giants. In 72 games, the 27-year-old has recorded 274 tackles, eight interceptions and three fumble recoveries. In 2001, he tallied a career-high four picks and became the first Giants rookie to lead the team in interceptions since 1988. New York selected the Syracuse product in the first round, 22nd overall, in 2001. Miami also announced on Monday it has signed former San Diego tight end Justin Peelle to a three-year deal. Peelle, a former fourth-round pick of the Chargers in 2002, has hauled in 40 passes for 270 yards and four touchdowns in his four-year career.
