Bozeman, MT (My Sportsbook) - Montana State University announced on Monday the retirement of men's head basketball coach Mick Durham. Durham spent 16-years as the head coach for the Bobcats and compiled 246 victories, the most in Big Sky Conference history. He also posted the second-most wins in school history. "Mick Durham has meant as much to Bobcat basketball as this program has meant to him," said MSU athletic director Peter Fields. "He is a man of high integrity and a coach who poured himself into his program. He achieved at a high level over a long period of time at the school he loves. I think that is the strongest statement that can be made on Mick's behalf. He has affected a lot of lives in a positive way." Durham served as an assistant with the Bobcats from 1982-90 and became the school's 20th head coach in 1990. He has led the team to an overall record of 246-213 as well as a Big Sky Conference regular season championship in 2002. Durham also graduated from MSU in 1979 and was a former point guard during his time at the school.
