Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Portuguese defender Marco Caneira is on his way to fourth-place Sporting Lisbon in a loan from La Liga club Valencia. The 26-year-old started his career with Sporting, and will stay with the club until May, when the loan expires. Caneira will then return to Valencia, where he has five years remaining on his contract. Caneira played in five matches for third place Valencia. The defender joins his old team trailing first place Porto by seven points. |
