=== Miller and Snyder receive year-end awards === Harrisburg, PA (My Sportsbook) - The directors of the United States Harness Writers Association have voted Erv Miller the 2005 Glen Garnsey Trainer of the Year. The award is named for the Hall of Fame member who died in 1985. Miller was the trainer of Classic Photo, Loyal Opposition and Little Miss K among others. Classic Photo was the morning line favorite for this year's Hambletonian. The three-year-old trotter finished 2005 with more than $1.3 million and 10 wins in 16 starts. Loyal Opposition closed the year with a win in the Breeders Crown pace for older fillies and mares. The five-year-old won 14 times in 20 starts for $673,525. Little Miss K earned $530,089 this year with six wins in 11 starts. Overall in 2005, Miller registered 309 wins with 1,118 starters, and posted more than $5.3 million. The association also voted Jeffrey Snyder as the Owner of the year. Snyder won the award in 1994, the first time it was established. Snyder co-owns leading three-year-old pacer Rocknroll Hanover. The colt concluded 2005 as the leading money earner among all harness horses with better than $2.2 million. Rocknroll Hanover, voted the champion three-year-old male pacer, captured the Meadowlands Pace, North America Cup and the Breeders Crown Pace. He won 12 of 18 starts in 2005.
