Porto, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Benfica signed Brazilian winger Gustavo Manduca to a four-and-a-half-year contract on Wednesday. Manduca spent the last 18 months with Maritimo after first coming over to Portugal during the 1998-99 campaign. In 15 matches this season, the 25-year-old winger has netted five goals. Benfica, which resumes play from its winter break on January 8, against Pacos Ferreira, sits in third place in the Portuguese Superliga standings with 31 points through 16 outings. |
