New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Dallas Stars forward Bill Guerin was named NHL Player of the Week for the period of Wednesday, October 9 through Sunday, October 13. Guerin collected points on each of Dallas' first five goals of the season. He recorded an assist in the Stars' 1-1 tie at Colorado in the season-opener on Wednesday, had two goals and two assists in a 4-2 triumph over Anaheim on Friday and tallied a goal in a 5-2 win at Phoenix on Saturday. Guerin, who signed as a free agent with the club in July, will attempt to extend his point streak to four games when Dallas hosts Edmonton on Tuesday. |
