=== Rockies sign pair to minor-league deals === Denver, CO (My Sportsbook) - The Colorado Rockies signed pitchers Bret Prinz and Steve Colyer to minor-league contracts with an invitation to major league spring training. The 28-year-old Prinz spent most of last season rehabbing a strained right shoulder. The right-hander was acquired by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from the New York Yankees on March 29 and appeared in three of the Angels' first six contest before heading to the disabled list. Prinz is 5-4 with nine saves and a 4.77 ERA in 98 career relief appearances with the Angels, Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks. The left-handed Colyer went 4-2 with a 5.67 ERA last year for Norfolk, the New York Mets' Triple-A affiliate in the International League. A former second- round selection in the 1997 draft, the 26-year-old Colyer is 1-0 with a 5.05 ERA in 54 career relief appearances with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Tigers.
