(My Sportsbook) - The Tampa Bay Lightning will try to get back in the win column this evening, as they host the Pittsburgh Penguins at St. Pete Times Forum.

The Lightning had won a season-high four straight before getting slammed by the New Jersey Devils on Friday night.

The Devils pounded Tampa Bay, 8-2, at the Forum. Alexander Mogilny and Sergei Brylin scored two goals apiece and Viktor Kozlov tallied a goal and four assists to lead New Jersey.

Martin St. Louis had a goal and an assist, Fredrik Modin tallied a goal and Brad Richards added two helpers for Tampa Bay.

Sean Burke stopped 11-of-17 shots before being pulled in favor of John Grahame midway through the second period.

Tonight's game is the second test of a six-game homestand for the Lightning, who are 5-5-1 at home this year.

The Penguins were 6-3 losers against the Florida Panthers on Friday night. Olli Jokinen recorded his first career hat trick to lift the Panthers at Bank Atlantic Center.

Zigmund Palffy scored a goal and had two assists for the Penguins, who haven't beat Florida since March 5, 2002 in Pittsburgh. Erik Christensen netted a goal and an assist in defeat.

Sebastien Caron allowed three goals on seven shots before being replaced by Jocelyn Thibault in the first period. Thibault finished the game with 36 stops.

Rookie superstar Sidney Crosby notched his 12th goal of the season in the loss and extended his point and goal streaks to five games in the process. He has six goals and two assists in the string.

Crosby left Friday's game with a foot injury and is questionable for tonight's contest.

Tampa Bay has won five straight and six of seven over Pittsburgh, including a 3-1 win in the Steel City on October 15.
