Ottawa, ON (My Sportsbook) - Jason Spezza had two goals and two assists to lead the Ottawa Senators over the Boston Bruins, 4-2, at the Corel Centre.

Dany Heatley and Daniel Alfredsson each had a goal and two assists and Dominik Hasek made 22 saves for the Senators, who have won five straight games.

Heatley extended his season-opening points streak to 21 games. It is the second-longest streak in NHL history from the start of a player's tenure with a team. Wayne Gretzky set the record by scoring in his first 23 games with the Los Angeles Kings (1988-89). Heatley has 17 goals and 20 assists during the run.

Brad Isbister had a goal and an assist and Nick Boynton scored for the Bruins, who have lost two in a row and eight of their last nine games. Andrew Raycroft made 36 saves in the loss.

The Senators jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a goal by Spezza, 34 seconds into the game. Heatley got the puck from Alfredsson and snapped a wrist shot from low in the left circle. Raycroft made a right pad save, but the rebound went right to Spezza on the left side and he smacked it in for his ninth goal of the season.

The Bruins would tie the game up on Isbister's fourth goal of the season with 6:15 left in the first. Brad Boyes brought the puck out of the Boston zone and hit Isbister with a pass behind two defenders. Isbister went in on net and his backhander went over Hasek's right shoulder.

Hal Gill took a slashing call towards the end of the first and Ottawa made Boston pay just nine seconds into the second period.

Martin Havlat took the puck deep into the Bruins zone and threw a pass from the left boards to Andrej Meszaros at the left point. Meszaros sent a hard wrist shot to the net that was deflected by Spezza into the upper right corner to give Ottawa the lead for good.

The Senators would take a 3-1 lead into the last period on a power-play goal by Heatley. Spezza threw a shot on net and the puck would wind up behind the net. Heatley picked it up and got the puck past Raycroft on a wraparound from the right side of the net with 4:19 left in the second.

The Spezza-Heatley-Alfredsson line struck again in the third period. Spezza caused a turnover in the neutral zone and got the puck to Heatley, who went in on a 2-on-1 with Alfredsson. Heatley made a pass from the left circle to Alfredsson at the right circle and his wrist shot beat Raycroft on the glove side with 13:39 left in the game.

Boston got a goal by Boynton to make it 4-2, but that was with 20 seconds left.
