Columbus, OH (My Sportsbook) - Veteran wide receiver Wayne Chrebet has received a trainer's license from the United States Trotting Association. The New York Jets wideout has also been granted a qualifying driver's license. A 12-year veteran of the NFL, Chrebet owns and races standardbreds through his Double Down Stable. His horses are currently trained by Kevin McDermott. Earlier this year former Major League Baseball pitcher Dan Plesac became a licensed harness racing trainer. Also involved in harness racing are Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, former NBA player Sam Bowie and Johnny Podres Jr. Podres, the son of former big league pitcher Johnny Podres, trains for Schilling.
