Fort Worth, TX (My Sportsbook) - Mike Skinner captured the pole for Friday's Silverado 350K at the Texas Motor Speedway. The No.5 Toyota circled the 1.5- mile speedway in 29.574 seconds (182.593 m.p.h.). Skinner also owns the track record at TMS which he set in June (29.524 seconds - 182.902 m.p.h.). The pole victory was Skinner's seventh of the season and 24th of his Craftsman Truck Series career. Starting on the front row with Skinner will be Bill Lester who posted a second-best time of 29.581 seconds. Terry Cook (29.591) and Kyle Busch (29.601) will make up row two. Series points leader Ted Musgrave enters the race at TMS with a 51-point lead over Dennis Setzer. The No.1 Ultra Motorsports Dodge driver has posted six top-10s in the last seven races to come from more than 200 points down to his current position. Musgrave is now just three weeks from accomplishing his dream of winning a Craftsman Truck Series championship. After four years of coming close, the Franklin, WI native can almost touch the brass ring. He finished second overall in the 2001 championship and third in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
