Vancouver, British Columbia (My Sportsbook) - Vancouver Canucks forward Trevor Linden is expected to miss the next two-to-four weeks because of a sprained right knee. Linden suffered the injury in the first period of Thursday's season opener against Calgary when he collided with Flames defenseman Denis Gauthier. Linden attempted to return in the second frame, but couldn't play. Linden, who spent his first 10 NHL seasons with Vancouver, was re-acquired by the Canucks from Washington in November last season. He had 12 goals and 22 assists in 64 games with the Canucks last year. Also Friday, the Canucks signed 21-year-old center Jason King.
