=== U.S. Olympic skeleton hopeful Pikus-Pace suffers broken leg === Lake Placid, NY (My Sportsbook) - U.S. Olympic skeleton hopeful Noelle Pikus- Pace suffered a compound fracture of her lower left leg during an accident on Wednesday when she was hit by an American four-man bobsled in the out run of the track. The United States Bobsled and Skeleton Federation said Pikus-Pace, the 2005 World Cup champion, was at a hospital in Calgary. It's not known if Pikus-Pace will be fully recovered to try and make a run at the Olympic team in Turin, Italy. |
