Montreal, CA (My Sportsbook) - Defending series champion Sebastien Bourdais captured the pole for Sunday's Molson Indy Montreal Champ Car race. The No.1 Newman Haas Racing driver circled the 2.709-mile Circuit Gilles Villeneuve road course in one minute, 20.645 seconds (121.305 m.p.h.). Bourdais earned another championship point for the pole and the Frenchman now holds a 251-196 point lead over second-place Paul Tracy. Teammate Oriol Servia was second quickest with a lap of 1:20.698. Justin Wilson (1:20.932) and his Rusport teammate A.J. Allmendinger (1:20.954) make up row two. Hometown favorite Tracy (1:21.009) will start fifth. In 2004, Bruno Junqueira won the Montreal event. But following his injury at the Indianapolis 500, his seat was taken by Servia. The race scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. (edt).
