Montreal, CA (My Sportsbook) - Defending series champion Sebastien Bourdais captured the pole for Sunday's Molson Indy Montreal Champ Car race. The No.1 Newman Haas Racing driver circled the 2.709-mile Circuit Gilles Villeneuve road course in one minute, 20.645 seconds (121.305 m.p.h.). Bourdais earned another championship point for the pole and the Frenchman now holds a 251-196 point lead over second-place Paul Tracy. Teammate Oriol Servia was second quickest with a lap of 1:20.698. Justin Wilson (1:20.932) and his Rusport teammate A.J. Allmendinger (1:20.954) make up row two. Hometown favorite Tracy (1:21.009) will start fifth. In 2004, Bruno Junqueira won the Montreal event. But following his injury at the Indianapolis 500, his seat was taken by Servia.
