Porto, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - FC Porto filled a vacant spot in its defense on Friday by inking Faith Sonkaya to a contract with a transfer fee to Besiktas JK. The 24-year-old Sonkaya is expected to take the place of Giourkas Seitaridis on the right side of the backline. Seitaridis has joined Dinamo Moscow. Sonkaya has also suited up for Roda in the Eredivisie after coming up through the FC Heerlen youth program and playing on loan at Venlo. A Turkish international, Sonkaya has six caps. FC Porto finished in second place of Superliga this past season, three points behind Benfica. |
