Tampa, FL (My Sportsbook) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Brad Johnson was able to practice on a limited basis on Saturday while battling to recover from a sore back, but still remains questionable for Monday's game against Pittsburgh. Johnson had not practiced before Saturday and will likely be a game-time decision. The Tampa Bay signal caller was injured late in last week's game against Detroit when a defender landed on his back during a scramble to set up Martin Gramatica's winning field goal. Gruden is hoping an extra day of rest will allow his quarterback time to get ready, as Tampa Bay continues to play for home field advantage in the NFC playoffs. If Johnson can't play, Shaun King will be the starter against Pittsburgh. Johnson missed the October 27 game against Carolina after suffering a rib injury the previous week against Philadelphia. Rob Johnson started the contest against the Panthers, but was injured and King threw one pass to set up Tampa's winning field goal in a 12-9 victory. King hasn't started a game since the finale of the 2000 season. "I'm real pleased with the week of practice he's had," Gruden said about King.
