Portland, OR (My Sportsbook) - Justin Wilson captured day number two's pole, picking up a second championship point and the topspot for Sunday's Grand Prix of Portland Champ Car race. The No.9 RuSport Lola driver circled the 1.969-mile, 10-turn road course in 57.597 seconds on Friday to win the pole and came back with a day winning time of 57.808 on Saturday. American A.J. Allmendinger, Wilson's teammate at RuSport, will start along Wilson on the front row. Paul Tracy (57.911) and Alex Tagliani (57.956) will start in the second row. A total of 18 drivers took to the track including six rookies, but only three drivers could improve on their Friday times and just two, Oriol Servia and Nelson Philippe improved their positions on the grid. The session was also interrupted by a power outage. The race scheduled to begin on Sunday at 3:45 p.m.
