| Landover, MD (MySportsbook) - Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn will not have playcalling duties, it was decided after the team's 14-6 loss to Kansas City on Sunday. The decision was made after Zorn met with Vinny Cerrato, the Redskins' executive vice president of football operations, after the loss. Cerrato thought Zorn had too many responsibilities as head coach, and Zorn agreed with the decision. The team is expected to decide on a new playcaller Monday. LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -Jim Zorn stood alone on the sideline Sunday, his headset off, his arms folded across his chest, hearing the dwindling crowd's boos and watching the seconds tick away on his Washington Redskins' latest loss to a previously winless team. Zorn began his postgame news conference with a loud, lengthy sigh into the microphone. And the coach kept on sighing as he discussed Washington's 14-6 setback against the Kansas City Chiefs, which dropped the Redskins to 2-4 this season and 4-10 over their p |

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -The Washington Redskins had been reciting the same line every week for a month. Struggling teams are the worst to play, the saying goes, because they're desperate and unpredictable. Enough of that political correctness. The Redskins are themselves a desperate team now. They have no problem saying out loud that they should've been beating all these winless teams, and - now that the cream-puff part of the schedule is coming to an end - they should, must and ought to fully dispense with the K |
