He went 1-for-3 with a pair of walks in the Nationals' 6-3 loss to San Francisco on Tuesday. Zimmerman had been on the DL since May 26 with a slightly torn labrum in his left shoulder. The 23-yeard-old hurt the shoulder while sliding headfirst in a 2-1 win over Baltimore on May 18, but continued playing with the injury until May 25, going 8-for-22 during that span. |
