| Surprise, AZ (MySportsbook) - The Texas Rangers placed outfielder Frank Catalanotto on irrevocable release waivers for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release, clearing the way for Andruw Jones to make the team's roster for the regular season. If no team claims Catalanotto on waivers, he will become a free agent effective on Monday.
