"David did a nice job for us making plays," Del Rio said. "He really made some plays with his feet. The wind wasn't easy, and I thought he handled himself very well." Sunday's win in Philly improved Garrard's career record to 6-3 as a starter. ew York lost its only meeting against the Texans by a 16-14 score on November 24, 2002 at Reliant Stadium. Tiki Barber ran for 146 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, while Amani Toomer added 113 yards and a score on eight catches. Houston has lost two of its last three games, including Sunday's 28-22 loss against the Tennessee Titans. The Texans are 0-3 against the NFC this season and will probably be 0-4 after Sunday's game at Giants Stadium. Three of Houston's five losses this season have come on the road.

ports Network) - Inconsistent has been the best way to describe the season so far for the Houston Texans. After stunning the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7 with a victory, Gary Kubiak's gang failed to take any momentum from that win, and lost to the Tennessee Titans, 28-22, in Week 8. Sunday's loss to the Titans was a game where the stats mean nothing, and you have to throw them out the door. Houston outgained Tennessee in total net yards, 427-197, but turned the football over five times. Three of those turnove
Titans showing chemistry, grit in first winning streak since 2003 NFL Football 10/30/2006

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The Tennessee Titans had a sack erased by a penalty, a long catch down the sideline waived off by officials and their defense on the field for more than 36 minutes.

In the past two seasons, mistakes like that would have killed them.

But maybe these Titans are different; maybe they're young enough to ignore their mistakes.

Tennessee showed resiliency and determination - if not great football - in a 28-22 victory Sunday over Houston to start its first winning streak since 2003.
