Robinson was hitting just .192 with three runs batted in over 73 at-bats in 47 games. He does not have an extra-base hit. The Cardinals filled the roster spot by recalling pitcher Jimmy Journell from Memphis. Journell was 4-5 with a 3.73 earned run average at Triple-A this season, but was 3-0 with a 1.07 ERA after being moved to the bullpen. St. Louis now has 13 pitchers on its active roster. |
