St. Louis has lost seven straight to Seattle. SEAHAWKS: CAN'T PLAY THE SPOILER The Seattle Seahawks haven't had many big wins this season. In fact, they haven't had much of any type of wins; only two to be exact. The Seahawks had a golden opportunity to get noticed by NFL fans this weekend, as they came close to upsetting the New England Patriots. |

"I just cringe every time I think about us scoring only 10 or 7 (points)," said Zorn, who came to Washington with a well-respected reputation as an offensive mind from his tenure as quarterbacks coach with the Seattle Seahawks. "We have to be able to sustain drives. We're not good enough yet on offense, period. We've shown that we're not good enough to sustain and teams have just been playing their (base) defenses." | Renton, WA (MySportsbook) - Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is listed as doubtful for Sunday's home game against the Patriots. The back problems that caused Hasselbeck to miss five games this season, and which subsided recently as the 33-year-old returned to play in Seattle's previous three games, have resurfaced and could force him to sit out. Hasselbeck, who was limited all week in practice, has 1,216 yards passing to go with five touchdowns and 10 picks this season. Linebacker LeRoy Hill (nec |

| Renton, WA (MySportsbook) - The Seattle Seahawks placed guard Mike Wahle on injured reserve on Friday, and signed center Steve McKinney to the active roster. Wahle, who signed with the Seahawks in the offseason, started the first 10 games of the season before injuring his shoulder against Arizona on November 16. He is the third starting offensive lineman to land on injured reserve this season for Seattle. To fill the void left by Wahle, Seattle signed McKinney, who has played 10 seasons in the NFL, including |

| (MySportsbook) - This Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks at Qwest Field was supposed to be a much-anticipated December clash between two perennial playoff teams. Instead, thanks to both teams' current standing outside the 2008 playoff bracket, the matchup has been demoted from its status as an NBC-televised primetime affair, and will simply be one of the six games contested in the late Sunday afternoon slot in Week 14. The big problem, frankly, is the homestanding Seahawks. F |

The 26th overall pick in the 2005 draft, Spencer has played in 52 career games with 40 starts. Filling Spencer's spot will be Na'Shan Goddard, formerly of the New York Giants practice squad. SEAHAWKS: CARLSON THE LONE BRIGHT SPOT It has been hard to find any bright spots for the Seattle Seahawks this year. Tight end John Carlson, though, has been one of them. Carlson was taken with the seventh pick of the second round (38th overall) of the 2008 draft and quickly found himself into Seattle's starting offense. In 12 games this year, the 24-ye |
