Santa Clara, CA (MySportsbook) - San Francisco 49ers middle linebacker Derek Smith received a $25,000 fine from the NFL for knocking down an official last month in a game against the Saints. The ruling arrived in a letter last week. Smith said he was surprised, and did not remember the play.
