| (MySportsbook) - When they take the field on Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles will have endured 34 long days without a victory. More than a month after seemingly announcing their re-emergence among the NFL elite with a win over Terrell Owens and the Dallas Cowboys, Andy Reid's team will look to again pump their fists in triumph, when the Washington Redskins invade Lincoln Financial Field. Between the Oct. 8th win over Dallas and last week's bye, the Eagles dropped consecutive games to the Saints (27-24), Buccane |

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Reggie Brown's knack for making big plays earned him a bigger contract faster than expected. Brown signed a five-year extension Friday that would keep the second-year wide receiver with the Philadelphia Eagles through 2014. The deal, agreed upon late Thursday night, reportedly is worth up to $27 million and includes $10 million in guaranteed money. ``Money has nothing to do with what I do on the field,'' said Brown, who is known for his strong work ethic. ``I still have to go out there an |

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -The Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles are quite familiar with improbable wins and losses. Last week, the Redskins temporarily saved their season with a 22-19 victory over Dallas in one of the wildest finishes in recent history. Nick Novak missed a 49-yard field goal with 31 seconds, but got a chance to kick a 47-yarder to win it after time expired following a blocked field goal by Troy Vincent. Three weeks ago, the Eagles rallied from a 17-0 deficit to take a one-point lead over |

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Once a group that induced fear and inflicted hurt on the opposition, the Philadelphia Eagles' defense is on the defensive. Rested and refreshed after a bye week, the Eagles returned to work and their task of trying to figure out how a promising 4-1 start degenerated into a 4-4 record midway through the season. With a critical NFC East game against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, the Eagles have an offense that has been inconsistent. They also have to unravel their perplexing defense.

Washington snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 3-5 on the season, but is still last in the NFC East standings. The Redskins will now prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles, a team Vincent played with from 1996-2003, making five Pro Bowl appearances.
