ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) - The Oakland Raiders will be without tight end Kevin Boss for their season-opener at Denver on Monday night. Boss was ruled out of the game Saturday because of a knee strain he suffered against San Francisco in the preseason on Aug. 20 . He appeared to make some progress shortly after getting hurt but hasn't returned to practice since then. | Oakland, CA (MySportsbook) - Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor will reportedly appeal his five-game suspension imposed by the NFL, making a reverse course from what he said during the preseason. Numerous media sources indicate Pryor, who was chosen by the Raiders out of Ohio State in the supplemental draft and then signed a four-year contract, has decided to appeal.
