| Bronx, NY (MySportsbook) - Former New York Yankees slugger Johnny Blanchard died Wednesday. He was 76 years old. According to the club's web site, Blanchard died of a heart attack in Minnesota. "This is a sad day. Johnny was a good friend and a great teammate. He was proud of being a Yankee and always fun to be around.
