| (MySportsbook) - The New York Giants, who dropped a 28-10 decision to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11, lost for the second straight time last week. Following road victories over Minnesota and the New York Jets to climb back to the .500 mark, the Giants have lost to the Eagles and Atlanta Falcons to fall to 4-6 and out of the NFC playoff picture. "We just don't look like a team playing with a lot of confidence," said head coach Jim Fassel, whose job is clearly in jeopardy. "We are waiting for things to ha |

| at to do. We come in and work hard and we try and do everything during the week to get prepared...and we haven't done it." Buffalo expects wide receiver Eric Moulds to be able to play Sunday. He's missed three of the last five games with a groin injury. Moulds' absence and injury have definitely hurt Bledsoe. He has thrown just three touchdowns and been picked off seven times over the last eight games and the team has scored just 90 points in that span. | (MySportsbook) - From the moment Brian Dawkins ran out of the tunnel last week, the Philadelphia Eagles became a different team. His presence alone sparked an impressive 28-10 shellacking of the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field. Dawkins, who had been sidelined since early in the season with a foot injury, came out and posted five tackles in the win over the Giants. However, his foot malady flared up after the contest and made him questionable for Sunday's contest against New Orleans. "He came in k |

| Since their bye week, the Eagles have ripped off seven wins in eight games to climb into a first place tie with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East. Last Sunday, the Eagles continued their steady improvement with a 28-10 domination of the arch-rival New York Giants at the Linc. "It was a character win. It's tough to come off a Monday night game and an emotional one, and come back here and play an emotional game against one of your rivals," said Eagles head coach Andy Reid. | East Rutherford, NJ (MySportsbook) - The New York Giants placed defensive end Kenny Holmes and strong safety Shaun Williams on injured reserve with knee injuries. The move ends the seasons of two more defensive starters for the Giants. Cornerback Will Peterson was placed on IR earlier this month with a stress fracture in his lower back. | Eagles Team Report: Flying high now |
NFL Football |

| |
| (MySportsbook) - With four straight victories, the Philadelphia Eagles are the hottest team in the NFC. The turnaround might have been difficult to predict after opening the 2003 season with consecutive home losses to Tampa Bay and New England, but Andy Reid has righted the ship with a 6-1 mark in his team's last seven games. The Eagles have tied an NFL record with four consecutive wins after trailing by three-or-more points in the second half. Philadelphia is the first club to accomplish that feat since the 1986 New England Patriots. "Every team is different. Every team has its own personality. This group is developing theirs," said Reid. "You know even better at the end of the season, but up until this point, they've sure showed a lot of heart and determination. Those are special qualities in this profession and this sport." Donovan McNabb might not be putting up MVP-type numbers, but the elusive quarterback is doing what it takes to win ball games. He's spreading the ball around to all of his receivers and minimizing mistakes. "It's all about winning, although people look at football players as being the king of stats," McNabb said. "If you're a quarterback, you pass for 4,000 yards, you complete 65 percent of your balls and throw 40 touchdowns. But at the end of it all, it's what your winning percentage is. If you're a 40-50 winning percentage guy, then you don't win much. So, it's all about winning here in Philadelphia. You guys know that. I know that. That is the most important thing. Other things will fall into place." Over the past three games, McNabb has completed 61 percent of his passes for an average of 217 yards per game. He has thrown three TD passes and ran for another over that span. The 26-year-old QB has 76 career touchdown passes and needs one more to pass Sonny Jurgensen for fifth-most in team history. GROUND GREMLIN As Brian Westbrook's health continues to improve, the Eagles will once again have a three-headed rushing attack. Duce Staley led the team with 53 yards on 10 carries last week in the win over Green Bay. Correll Buckhalter had a season-high 100 yards in the Week 8 victory over the Jets and 92 the following week versus Atlanta. Despite McNabb's improved play, the Eagles will continue to win on the strength of their running game, which ranks ninth in the league (127 ypg). PHILLY'S BLACK HOLE The Eagles will wear black jerseys for Sunday's showdown with the New York Giants. It marks the first time in team history the club will don such garb. The black jersey is a league-approved alternate third jersey that features white numerals trimmed in silver and green. UP NEXT: The Eagles host the New Orleans Saints in Week 12. |
