| ' Williams insists he doesn't feel like a forgotten man in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offense. At times, though, it seems like he is. The second-year running back was held to a season-low 20 yards on eight carries during Sunday's 17-3 loss to the New York Giants - a reduced workload coach Jon Gruden attributed to poor weather and the fact the Bucs fell behind by two touchdowns in the second quarter. The only problem with the explanation was the blustery conditions at Giants Stadium, with winds gusting up |

Alexander cracked his fourth metatarsal Sept. 24 against the New York Giants in a left foot he had badly bruised in the Sept. 10 opener. Soon after the break was discovered, the Seahawks estimated he would miss at least a couple of weeks. Then last week, Alexander began running on a treadmill without pain for the first tim |

IRVING, Texas (AP) -Bill Parcells' friends saw the warning signs last week. The way he looked during and after the Dallas Cowboys' loss to the New York Giants left them worried about his health and happiness. Some called. Others sent e-mails. Jim Burt showed up. Burt, the nose tackle on Parcells' 1986 Super Bowl champion team with the Giants and still a close friend, flew to Carolina for the Cowboys' game against the Panthers on Sunday night and delivered a message on behalf of everyone who cares abou |

Burress was upset with his own antics every time Eli Manning failed to get him the ball, the arm-flapping, the head shaking and the general l |

Each of Philadelphia's previous three losses came on the game's final play and each could be blamed on one physical mistake or one mental error. In a 30-24 overtime loss to the New York Giants in Week 2, Brian Westbrook had a costly fumble in the fourth quarter and defensive end Trent Cole committed an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to set up a 35-yard field goal that forced the extra period.
