Former Boston College standout Matt Ryan returns to Foxborough on Sunday as a rising star for the Atlanta Falcons, who will face Brady's New England Patriots. Ryan, the 2008 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, has enjoyed a strong start for the 2-0 Falcons and is coming off his first career game with three touchdown passes. Falcons fullback Ovie Mughelli predicted on Wednesday that Ryan's No. 2 jersey |

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady isn't commenting about a lawsuit against him and his supermodel wife. Two photographers sued Brady and Gisele Bundchen for $1 million on Tuesday, saying they were shot at during a post-wedding party in Costa Rica in April. Asked at his locker Wednesday if he had any comment on the lawsuit, Brady smiled and said, ``No. I got no reaction to that one.'' The lawsuit alleged that Yuri Cortez of AFP and Rolando Aviles of Costa Rican national dail |

| Owings Mills, MD (MySportsbook) - The Baltimore Ravens have traded linebacker Prescott Burgess to the New England Patriots and signed tight end Tony Curtis. Baltimore received a conditional seventh-round draft pick in exchange for Burgess and inked Curtis to fill the spot on its 53-man roster. Besieged by injuries since becoming Baltimore's sixth-round pick in 2007, Burgess spent all of 2008 and a good part of his rookie season on injured reserve. The 25-year-old was active for the Ravens first two games of 2009 |

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -The New England Patriots young secondary couldn't make key plays against a quarterback having an impressive rookie season. Now it must face another who already has completed one. On Sunday, the Patriots will try to stop Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons one week after losing to Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets 16-9. In two games, both wins, Ryan has thrown for five touchdowns - two to star tight end Tony Gonzalez - and just one interception after being named the NFL offensive rooki |

It would not be the first time the Jets have been accused of tampering. In 2006, the New England Patriots claimed the Jets tampered with wide receiver Deion Branch. The league's investigation cleared the Jets of any wrongdoing. The Jets have been interested in a top receiver, and earlier this summer it was speculated that unhappy Broncos wideout Brandon |

| Brady threw in 2007. The New Orleans Saints quarterback would rather steer clear of such talk, turning his focus to team goals. ``How about 16 wins?'' Brees said Monday. That would be another long-shot, though not impossible, as Brady and the New England Patriots proved two seasons ago. Certainly, the Saints have won their first two games impressively, scoring 93 points in the process. Their 45-27 season-opening win at home against the rebuilding Detroit Lions turned out to be but a prelude to an even more |

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -The New York Jets' stifling defense has made the end zone unfamiliar territory for opposing offenses. Two games down, and no touchdowns allowed. The Jets can't possibly remain this stingy, could they? ``Hey, the New England Patriots went undefeated during the regular season,'' cornerback Darrelle Revis said with a laugh Monday, ``so I don't know.'' The fact is, Rex Ryan's aggressive defense has already caused fits for two high-powered offenses in shutting down Houston 24-7 - the on |

Jets, San Francisco, Denver THESE GUYS ARE GOOD The Saints have 93 points in their first two games, and if they stay on their current pace (which they won't), they'll shatter the NFL record of points in a season, set by the 2007 New England Patriots with 589. The Saints must average 35.4 points over their final 14 games to better the Pats' mark, and based on the way Drew Brees and the offense have looked in the season's first two weeks, the record could be in some trouble.
