| to be most wanted by the NFL. He's among the early favorites to be the first player drafted. Size and system are Quinn's advantages. He's 6-foot-4 and under coach Charlie Weis, Quinn has been running essentially the same offense Tom Brady and the New England Patriots used to win three Super Bowls. In two seasons under Weis, Quinn has thrown for 7,197 yards and 67 touchdowns with seven interceptions and a completion rate of 64 percent. Plus, there's no question about his character and ability to handle the spot |

BOSTON (AP) -New England Patriots linebacker Junior Seau, out for the year after his third straight season-ending injury, said he plans to return next year for an 18th season. Seau's season ended after he broke his arm against the Bears on Nov. 26. Seau, who turns 38 next month, signed a one-year deal with the Patriots this summer after a brief retirement. The 12-time Pro Bowl selection told the San Diego Union-Tribune he has no plans to retire again. ``I'm going to be back,'' he said. ``I don't know which |

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -Don't put all of those December games in the win column for the New England Patriots yet. The AFC East leaders showed Sunday that a seemingly easy road to the playoffs may be filled with hazards, no matter how much their opponents have struggled. They barely avoided losing Sunday to Detroit, tied with Oakland for the NFL's worst record at 2-10. So, how could any of their four remaining games be considered a mismatch? ``Every team, I think, from now on out is not going to be an easy |
