| Foxboro, MA (MySportsbook) - New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison is reportedly out for this Sunday's playoff game against the New York Jets because of a knee injury. According to the Boston Herald, Harrison suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee after being blocked low by Tennessee's Bobby Wade in last Sunday's 40-23 win over the Titans. Harrison stayed down on the field after the second-quarter play, but was able to walk off on his own. The injury could sideline him 2-to-4 week |

After falling 3 points short against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl two years ago, the Eagles completely fell apart last season. A slew of injuries to key players and the turmoil surrounding Terrell Owens contributed greatly to a 6-10 finish. Coming into this season, players and coaches were dete |

Maybe the NFL wasn't ready for the likes of Carroll in the 1990s, when he coached the New York Jets for one season and the New England Patriots for three. Maybe it's not ready now. ``They don't have to be ready for it,'' Carroll said. ``You have to adapt, fit in if you want to stay there.'' They have won six straight games heading into Sunday's regular season finale against the New England Patriots. Tennessee is also still alive in the playoff hunt, although the team is a longshot. The Titans would need to beat the Pats and hope for a Cincinnati loss or tie along with a Denver loss and a Kansas City win to reach the postseason party. The Titan |

Both 8-7 teams are likely to be peering at the out-of-town scoreboard as they do battle, since each will require simultaneous early-game losses from the Bengals against Pittsburgh and the Titans versus the New England Patriots. If the Jaguars come out on top on Sunday, they will need a third 1pm Eastern game, the Jets/Raiders tussle at the Meadowlands, to break in favor of 2-13 Oakland. Should the Chiefs prevail, they would also require a late-game loss for the homestandi |
