| Montreal, Quebec (MySportsbook) - The Montreal Canadiens claimed left wing Gordie Dwyer off waivers from the New York Rangers on Friday. The 25-year-old Dwyer recorded one assist and compiled 50 penalty minutes in 17 games with the Rangers this season. Dwyer, who spent the first three seasons of his career with Tampa Bay and New York, is playing in his fourth NHL season. He has five assists and 341 penalty minutes in 95 games. |
