EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Kevin Williams has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl team as an injury replacement for Detroit Lions rookie Ndamukong Suh.

The Vikings announced the news on Friday. Suh is having shoulder surgery.

Williams will appear in the Pro Bowl for the fifth straight season and the sixth time in his eight-year career. He had only one sack this season, finishing with 49 tackles, nine tackles for loss, seven passes defended and one forced fumble while starting

Vick couldn't deliver a win in his latest outing, however, with the Minnesota Vikings successfully containing both the dual-threat quarterback and his team's usually potent offense in a 24-14 upset at Lincoln Financial Field on Dec. 28. Frazier says Vikes to be 'dramatically different' NFL Football 01/05/2011

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The oldest player on the Minnesota Vikings this season not named Brett Favre was sitting in the locker room recently when he started assessing the team's future.

``They'll need to rebuild around here,'' defensive tackle Pat Williams said. ``It's going to be kind of rough.''

Williams is one of several high-profile players with expiring contracts on the team as the Vikings move forward with new head coach Leslie Frazier and try to rebound from a 6-10 debacle that was a far cry from a Supe

NFC North: Vikings avoid one hurdle with Frazier NFL Football 01/04/2011
(MySportsbook) - Since Minnesota Vikings principal owner Zygi Wilf didn't wait weeks, or even months, to find a new head coach, the team can focus on improving other areas of the organization with plenty of time to spare. Of course with the NFL's CBA in question it will make it difficult for head coach Leslie Frazier and the front office to go forward with possible offseason moves. Frazier, whose interim tag was removed when Wilf recently named him the eighth head coach in team history, understands the league

``Kinda lonely tonight,'' he added in a subsequent message to the third masseuse, the lawsuit said. ``I guess I have bad intentions.''

The lawsuit came five days after the NFL fined Favre, now with the Minnesota Vikings, $50,000 for not being forthright in an investigation into allegations that he sent lewd text messages and photos to former Jets game hostess Jenn Sterger when they both worked for the team.

The league's investigation lasted months as the three-ti

Moss was traded to the Minnesota Vikings after the fourth game. Since then, the Patriots have concentrated on shorter passes.
