The 44th overall selection from South Carolina, Rice was a second-team All-SEC and third-team All-America selection as a sophomore in 2006 when he caught 72 passes for 1,090 yards and 10 touchdowns. Left tackle Bryant McKinnie, defensive end Erasmus James and wide receiver Billy McMullen were held out of the team's mandatory conditioning test and will work out on the side during the team's first practice Friday. McCauley, taken 72nd overall, recorded a career-high 55 tackles in his senior season at Fresno State last year. McCauley started in 32 games for his career with the Bulldogs.
