| El Segundo, CA (MySportsbook) - Los Angeles Kings defenseman Jaroslav Modry underwent shoulder surgery Monday. The successful procedure was performed to remove bone spurs on the left shoulder. The 32-year-old Modry is expected to rehabilitate and be back to full strength in about three months. The Bruins traded Stumpel, who played for the Kings from 1997-2001, and a seventh-round pick in this weekend's draft to Los Angeles in exchange for a fourth-round choice in this draft and a second-round selection next year. Jennings Trophy, given to the goaltender(s) with more than 25 appearances on the club allowing the fewest goals in the regular season.
