| Kansas City, MO (MySportsbook) - Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Miguel Asencio underwent surgery on Thursday to remove a bone chip from his right elbow. Asencio, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list almost a month ago, has a 2-1 record with a 5.21 ERA in eight starts this season.
