This bid is a stunning one from a group headed by the city, the Southland Conference and the Hunt Sports Group (i.e., the Texas oil family that owns the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as FC Dallas and the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer). | Landover, MD (MySportsbook) - Redskins running back Clinton Portis was on Washington's sideline to start the second half of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a nagging ankle injury. He returned on Washington's second drive of the third quarter and broke off a 78-yard run that set up a go-ahead field goal, but it wasn't enough as the Redskins fell, 14-6. | k away on his Washington Redskins' latest loss to a previously winless team. Zorn began his postgame news conference with a loud, lengthy sigh into the microphone. And the coach kept on sighing as he discussed Washington's 14-6 setback against the Kansas City Chiefs, which dropped the Redskins to 2-4 this season and 4-10 over their past 14 games. ``I've got to be better. And it really irritates me. Truly irritates me,'' Zorn said. ``And I'm just not going to rest until I get that taken care of.'' The heat o |

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -This past Sunday, the final roar at Arrowhead Stadium wasn't from the legions of rabid, red-clad Kansas City Chiefs faithful. It was from Cowboys fans celebrating a game-winning 60-yard touchdown pass in overtime. ``They had so many Cowgirl fans there,'' complained Ty Rowton, a Chiefs fan known as ``X-Factor'' who decks himself in red tights and war paint on game day. ``They were really loud whenever our offense was on the field. I've never seen that at Arrowhead - that's our job.'' |
