Bowe's big day helps Chiefs beat Seattle NFL Football 11/28/2010
Seattle, WA (MySportsbook) - Dwayne Bowe had a career day, catching 13 passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns, as the AFC West-leading Kansas City Chiefs took down the Seattle Seahawks, 42-24. Bowe, who came into the game with 11 scores, broke the franchise record for most touchdown receptions in a single-season. Chris Burford held the previous mark of 12 set in 1962. Matt Cassel completed 22-of-32 passes for 233 yards and four touchdowns for the Chiefs (7-4), who snapped a four-game road skid. Jamaal Charl

Chiefs' Flowers doubtful vs. Seattle NFL Football 11/26/2010
Kansas City, MO (MySportsbook) - Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game at Seattle. Flowers did not practice all week because of a hamstring injury, which forced him to leave last week's win over Arizona. Through 10 games this season, Flowers has recorded two interceptions -- one of which he ran back for a touchdown -- and 13 passes defended.
Seahawks, Chiefs to meet in bout between division leaders NFL Football 11/26/2010
(MySportsbook) - The Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs have both been able to move to the top of their respective division standings despite poor play on the road this season. While the Seahawks can take comfort in the fact that four of their final six games this regular season are in the friendly confines of Qwest Field -- including this Sunday's matchup with Kansas City -- the Chiefs must find a way to win on the road for the first time in over two months. It appears as if both the Chiefs and Seahawks
Cardinals OLB Davis breaks leg against Chiefs NFL Football 11/22/2010

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -Arizona outside linebacker Will Davis broke his left leg against the Kansas City Chiefs and is expected to be out for the season.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday that X-rays showed a fractured fibula. Davis started the game in place of Clark Haggans, who has missed three of the last four games with a groin injury.

Whisenhunt said he expects Haggans back this week and, with rookie O'Brien Schofield now the backup, does not anticipate adding another player at that position.

Kansas City, MO (MySportsbook) - Thomas Jones and Dwayne Bowe each scored twice as the Kansas City Chiefs took a 31-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals at Arrowhead Stadium. Jones carried 15 times for 71 yards while Bowe added six catches for 109 yards for the Chiefs (6-4), who snapped a two-game slide. Jamaal Charles ran for 88 yards on 12 carries and caught four balls for 38 yards, while quarterback Matt Cassel completed 15-of-24 passes for 193 yards and the two scores to Bowe. McCluster misses fourth straight game for KC NFL Football 11/21/2010

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -The Kansas City Chiefs have made rookie running back-wide receiver Dexter McCluster and tight end Tony Moeaki inactive against the Arizona Cardinals.

It's the fourth straight game McCluster has missed with an ankle injury. Also inactive for Kansas City are safety Jon McGraw and fullback Mike Cox. Moeaki, a rookie who has also figured prominently in the offense, sustained a head injury last week against Denver.

Inactives for Arizona include cornerback Greg Toler, linebackers Cyril Obi

Haley to meet old mates as Chiefs host Cardinals NFL Football 11/19/2010
(MySportsbook) - Todd Haley has made a noticeable difference during his time as head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. Some would say the Arizona Cardinals haven't been quite the same since he left. The former Cardinals offensive coordinator faces his former team for the first time since taking over the Chiefs this Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium in a matchup of clubs that will both be trying to break out of recent slumps. Haley spent the 2007 and '08 seasons as an assistant under Arizona head coach Ken Whisenhunt
LB Mario Haggan pulling double duty in Denver NFL Football 11/19/2010
ter NFL sacks champ Elvis Dumervil was lost for the season with a torn chest muscle. They had mixed results with the 4-3 look and ditched it after the bye week.

At outside linebacker in the 3-4 last week, Haggan had his best game as a pro, sacking Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel three times in the first half and forcing a fumble that was returned 75 yards for a touchdown.

``He hit the quarterback another four times right as he was getting the ball off,'' defensive coordinator Don Martindale noted.
