KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -One game into the post-Larry Johnson era is all it took for the Kansas City Chiefs to get their first rushing touchdown, first 100-yard rushing day and second win of the year. This week's opponent, the Pittsburgh Steelers, may mount more of a challenge than the mistake-prone Oakland Raiders did in Sunday's 16-10 victory. But the Steelers would be wise to prepare for Jamaal Charles as KC's featured back. It would seem a richly deserved reward for his long TD run and 103 yards rushing |

The red-hot Cowboys are receiving all kinds of adulation for their winning run, but remember, this is a team that little over a month ago needed a big comeback and overtime to beat the hapless Kansas City Chiefs. Dallas is good, but after a monumental win within the division, look for the Cowboys to struggle to answer the bell this week. The Packers, for all of their problems, are still a talented team that simply needs this game more, and will show the foc |

Either way, it's difficult to underestimate the debacle that could unfold. When the one-win Kansas City Chiefs visit the two-win Oakland Raiders, it'll be a stark reminder for both franchises of just how far they've each tumbled since halcyon days earlier in the decade. | Kansas City, MO (MySportsbook) - The Kansas City Chiefs made a pair of roster moves Wednesday, placing veteran guard Mike Goff on injured reserve and signing linebacker Justin Rogers. Goff, a veteran of 12 NFL seasons, was suffering from a shoulder injury that snapped his 113 consecutive game start streak last Sunday in the Chiefs' loss at Jacksonville. He has appeared in 171 career games -- 154 starts -- with Cincinnati, San Diego and the Chiefs. Rogers played in 31 games between 2007 and 2008 with Dallas, re |

PITTSBURGH (AP) -Steelers coach Mike Tomlin isn't saying if the team has any interest in Larry Johnson, the former Penn State running back who was released by the Kansas City Chiefs. Johnson, who would like to play in Pittsburgh, was cut Monday after being suspended by Kansas City for the second time in a year. The Steelers have long stayed away from signing troubled players, and they appear to be set at running back with starter Rashard Mendenhall and backup Willie Parker. Tomlin says he doesn't discuss f |
