| Wallace, Seahawks, Face Tough Assignment in K.C. |
NFL Football |

| neca Wallace is undoubtedly overjoyed at the prospect of making his first NFL start on Sunday, though the fourth-year-pro probably would have picked better circumstances than these under which to make his debut. Wallace's Seahawks will be facing the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, the notoriously noisy facility where Seattle has gone 2-18 since 1981. In addition to Matt Hasselbeck (sprained knee), who Wallace will replace on Sunday, Pro Bowl running back Shaun Alexander remains out with a cracked bone in |

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Damon Huard, nursing a sore groin, did not practice Friday and may not start Sunday against Seattle. Coach Herm Edwards said rookie Brodie Croyle would start if Huard can't play. Edwards said it could be a game-day decision. Croyle, drafted last spring out of Alabama, worked exclusively with the first team Friday, while Huard watched from the sidelines. Huard was injured Thursday, leaving Croyle to finish that day's practice with the first team. Trent |

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -The Kansas City Chiefs are stuck in a quarterback rut, and loving it. Next up in what has become a parade of inexperienced signal-callers will be Seattle's Seneca Wallace. Replacing injured Pro Bowler Matt Hasselbeck, Wallace will be the second quarterback in three weeks to make Kansas City the first NFL team he starts against. In fact, in five games this month, the Chiefs (3-3) will be able to count the experienced NFL passers lining up against them on one finger. And how has this |

| (MySportsbook) - The Kansas City Chiefs needed to rebound from a dreadful performance with a win this week, and were able to do it. Barely. The Chiefs edged out the visiting San Diego Chargers, 30-27, after blowing a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter. KC looked very impressive in the first half, as it jumped out to a 20-6 edge by the break and still held a 27-13 advantage at the end of 36 minutes. San Diego came charging back in the final quarter, but it was kicker Lawrence Tynes who had the final word, as h |

| Kansas City, MO (MySportsbook) - Lawrence Tynes nailed a game-winning 53- yard field goal with six seconds left, as the Kansas City Chiefs edged the San Diego Chargers, 30-27, at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs got the ball back at their own 18-yard line with 33 seconds remaining following a San Diego punt. Damon Huard led Kansas City's offense down the field on a 15-yard pass to Larry Johnson and a pair of passes to Tony Gonzalez totaling 37 yards. That set up a 48-yard field goal try, but the Chiefs were penal |

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Trent Green figures mid- to late-November is the earliest he'll be under center for the Kansas City Chiefs. In his journey back from the vicious head-snapping hit that left him unconscious with a severe concussion, the two-time Pro Bowl quarterback is taking it one step at a time. For the first time since he was carried off the field Sept. 10, he's been cleared to begin team activities. If all goes well this week and he gets the green light from the neurosurgeon he consults almost da |

Rackers shanked a 40-yard attempt against the Bears after missing a 51-yard field goal that would have tied the Kansas City Chiefs in the closing seconds of the previous week's game. Arizona also held a lead early against the Chiefs, and is now the first team in NFL history to blow 14-0 leads two weeks in a row and lose both games. The latest loss led to the firing of offensive |
