KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Right offensive tackle Kyle Turley, injured in practice earlier in the week, was inactive for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Turley injured his shoulder in practice on Wednesday. He was replaced by John Welbourn, making his first start of the year. Welbourn started nine games at right tackle last year, but was suspended for the first six games of this season for violation of the league's substance abuse rules. The Chiefs were also without defensive |

Frye injured his wrist during Cleveland's overtime victory against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Frye left the contest early in the second quarter after being hit after a pass attempt. He was taken to the locker room for X-rays that turned out to be negative. Frye did come back late in the second quarter but was replaced for good in the second half |

If they win Sunday, they'll be assured of at least a wild-card berth. If San Diego wins and the Kansas City Chiefs lose or tie at home against Baltimore, the Chargers will win the AFC West. Besides Tomlinson, the Broncos also have to contend with Rivers, who's having an impressive first season as the Chargers' starter. ``That's the challenge they present,'' |

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Every year it happens, almost without fail. First, the Midwestern air turns frosty and brisk and seasonal music fills the airwaves. Excited children clamber onto the laps of department store Santas. And the Kansas City Chiefs become nearly unconquerable at home. It doesn't seem to matter if they've played poorly or well in September, October and November, or whether they're barreling toward the postseason or playing out the string. In December, at home, Kansas City does not lose. |

They had just kept the AFC North race alive by beating Baltimore in a Thursday night showdown, and were looking to get some help from the other teams they're trying to catch. They exulted as the Kansas City Chiefs - one of the teams ahead of them in the wild card race - went to Cleveland and lost to the lowly Browns, putting the Bengals near the front of the line of playoff contenders. ``Yeah, I wanted Kansas City to lose,'' receiver T.J. The Chargers (10-2) can clinch a playoff spot with a win Sunday. If the Chargers win and the Kansas City Chiefs either tie or lose against Baltimore, San Diego will win the AFC West. Born without legs, Martin, wearing a Browns jacket and hat, slid into place in a single-file line of Cleveland players during pregame introductions before Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. As the NFL giants darted past, Martin reached up, slapped hands and screamed encouragement to his new friends. He no longer inspires by playing football. These days, Martin motivates simply by being himself. ``He was firing people up,'' Bro |

| (MySportsbook) - The Cleveland Browns finally got their long-awaited fourth victory of the season on Sunday, a win that was made possible by one of the unlikeliest of heroes. Trailing by two touchdowns to the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth quarter and playing without the services of their starting quarterback, the Browns appeared to be headed to yet another painful loss. But in stepped the untested and virtually unknown Derek Anderson, who tossed a pair of scoring passes in the final nine minutes of regulati |
