| ut the work of a running game that churned up 165 yards undoubtedly eased the pressure when the future Hall of Famer did drop back to throw. The biggest rushing hero for New England was veteran Fred Taylor, who had the first 100-yard day of his post-Jacksonville Jaguars career by rushing for 105 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Brady did his part as well, throwing for 277 yards and a touchdown on 25-of-42 passing, and the defense held the potent Falcons attack to less than 300 yards. The Ravens, meanwhile, cont |

The 6-3, 225-pound Miami-Florida product came through with 86 yards on four catches in last week's 31-24 loss to the AFC South-rival Jacksonville Jaguars, but has eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark just once in 2009. The season is still young, however, and quarterback Matt Schaub seems to be back in top form for this Sunday's matchup. Schaub is coming off his second straight 300-yard passing game f |

Other positions aren't immune from the NFL's finger crunch. Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Torry Holt has a ring finger that bends behind his middle finger; Miami Dolphins linebacker Reggie Torbor has a right pinkie that doglegs at a 30-degree angle. So maybe defensive backs aren't the hands-down winner, pardon the pun, in the |

NEW YORK (AP) -The Jacksonville Jaguars' game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday will be blacked out on local TV. It will be the only blackout in the league this week; the other 13 games have sold out. The Jaguars have struggled to sell tickets and are in danger of having all their games blacked out this season. Overall, four of 62 NFL games have been blacked out through the first four weeks of the season.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. The information contained in the AP |

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback David Garrard thought hosting a weekly radio show would be a good idea. He was meeting fans, answering questions, giving away tickets and previewing the team's upcoming game. Maybe he should have discussed it with coach Jack Del Rio first. When Del Rio learned about Garrard's Friday show, which aired the last three weeks, it was canceled faster than a network television dud. Del Rio says the timing made no sense. ``Less than 48 hours away from the g |

His 61-yard scoring run was the team's longest play since December 23, 2007 and helped the Jaguars record a season- |

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -Jacksonville Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver says he would consider playing games in Orlando if the NFL expands the regular season. Weaver said Wednesday that if the league restructures its schedule from 16 games to 17 or 18 - a move that could happen before the 2012 season - the Jaguars would try to play at least one out-of-market game. He said Orlando is the only viable option. Weaver also said Orlando would need to revamp the Citrus Bowl or build a new stadium to make it happen. Weaver |

| (MySportsbook) - Locally-based fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars were able to watch the team play a game on television this past Sunday, something that isn't likely to be a possibility when the Jags are working in their home stadium this year. The NFL's blackout policy has long been a problem in Jacksonville, a small- market city with a fan base that turns from generally ambivalent to largely absent when things are not going well for the home team. And the team's 0-2 start, which included a disastrous blowout by |
